OVERVIEW
This in-person course will cover servicing and repair for RD Locators & Transmitters (including PCM transmitters).
This course is taught by Ken Wright and is open to LATAM distributors only. Please limit to 2 people per company.

Topics covered include:

• Clean unit with all purpose cleaner
• Inspect external conditions of the unit (i.e. labels/plastics)
• Remove battery housing and inspect/assess components
• Inspect battery springs and replace if necessary
• Inspect accessory cover flaps and replace if necessary
• Replace any damaged labels
• Replace wear boot
• Perform eCal/eCert
• Print eCal/eCert certificate
• Perform functionality check
• Remove screws to remove plastic cover moldings to allow internal access
• Remove circuit micro PCB to allow access to handle fixing screws (to allow handle replacement)
• Remove and replace handle assembly
• Dismantle handle assembly
• Replace LCD, keypad, speaker assembly or window
• Remove circuit boards in order to replace with calibrated board sets
• Replace damaged plastic covers/housings
• Replace seals

• Repair boot of PCMx

• Repair RD312 Metal Locator

• Repair GPR display screen

• Repair GPR board at sensor

Lunch & dinner will be provided each day of the course. Attendees are responsible for all travel, accommodations and other meals.
